Presented by Dr. Brent Ludens DDS | April 5th & 6th – Thursday 5:30pm & Friday AM

Dear Collegues,

You and your staff are cordially invited to the Spring Seminar of the Summit Dental Implant Study Club, April 5th, 2018 – Thursday 5:30pm at the Inverness Hotel and Conference Center.

There is an abundance of information in the market place suggesting new and better materials and methods with dental implant prosthetics. Dr. Brent Ludens,
a prosthodontist practicing in Iowa, will present on “Making the Connection Between Theory and Clinical Practicality with Dental Implants.”
His presentation will tell us when and how these innovations should be
incorporated into our practices.

Our learning objectives are:
Dr. Ludens will describe the simplest ways to avoid dental implant dilemmas
Discuss the advantages of CAD-CAM dental implant crown and or
bridge fabrication
Understand the advantages of the angled screw channel and the
TorqTite screw
Peri-implantitis issues-using the pink aesthetic score as a clinical assessment tool

Dr. Gregory Farthing will also present on ‘Managing Restorative Materials in Conjunction with Soft Tissue Enhancement.’ Placement of restorative materials onto root surfaces in the aesthetic zone has a profoundly negative impact on aesthetics by making the teeth too long. Dr. Farthing will demonstrate Oral Plastic Surgery techniques to address inappropriately placed restorations and enhance aesthetic restorative treatment outcomes.

Learning Objectives:

Review the appropriate tooth/gingival proportions in the aesthetic zone
Review techniques to remove and redefine restorative margins for
aesthetic improvement
Dr. Farthing will also demonstrate how Oral Plastic Surgery can elevate
treatment outcomes with restorative aesthetic dentistry from good to Outstanding!!!
